2009 Member Recognition Awards
Each year, fellow members and organizations make extraordinary contributions to The Greater North Michigan Avenue Association and The Magnificent Mile®. Congratulations to our 2009 Winners!
Corporate Member Service Award – This award is presented to a business that has contributed significant resources to GNMAA in general or to a specific project. This award recognizes an entire organization, not a specific individual. Awarded to: Charter One
Development of the Year Award – This award is presented to a real estate development or renovation that contributes to the growth of the area while preserving the qualities of The Magnificent Mile district and the surrounding area. Awarded to: Chicago Riverwalk Project
Business Impact of the Year Award – This award is presented to a new or existing business that demonstrates innovative business ideas and through GNMAA, serves as a responsible corporate citizen. Awarded to: John Hancock Center and John Hancock Observatory
Individual Member Award – This award is presented to an individual that demonstrates exceptional volunteer service to GNMAA, primarily through committee work or similar service. Awarded to: Grant DePorter, Harry Caray's Restaurants
Chairman's Choice Award – This award is presented to an individual selected exclusively by the Chairman. Awarded to: ABC7 Chicago
