The Magnificent Mile Lights Festival presented by Harris is a seasonal marketing campaign that kicks-off the holiday season for the nation. This signature holiday event celebrates illuminating one million lights on 200 trees on North Michigan Avenue.
When: November 22, 2008 (The weekend before Thanksgiving)
Details: The 2008 Festival will be broadcast across the nation on ABC. The impact of this event is impressive – hotels, restaurants and parking garages report 100% occupancy and many retailers report higher sales than the day after Thanksgiving.
